An Office holder is defined in the Insolvency Rules 2016 as “a person who under the Act or these Rules holds an office in relation to insolvency proceedings and includes a nominee”. This includes Trustees in Bankruptcy.
It is routine for people to believe that the Office Holder has charged to much for the work that they have carried out.
There are also specific time by which an application to challenge the Office holders fees must be made.
